Individual counseling is a treatment where clients work one-on-one with a trained mental health clinician in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. 

Individual cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a treatment that involves meeting to identify and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. The goal is to learn how to apply these skills to daily life to manage problems and prevent them from negatively impacting your life. 

Your therapist will provide feedback and summaries throughout the session, It is not their job to tell you what to do.

You’ll work with your therapist to break down your problems, discuss them, and determine how you are comfortable changing them.

Family therapy is a form of talk therapy that focuses on the improvement of relationships among family members.that helps family members better understand each other, support one another and work through difficult situations.

Four common types of family therapy include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Systemic Family Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. 

Expect the family therapist to look at the relationships, the interactions, and the communication patterns between the members of the family and to intervene to improve them. The therapist may do so by engaging every member of the family and their perceptions in the process.
